In the fall of 2017, I began work on a project with the American Cancer Society aimed at improving the experience of the ACS Volunteer Learning Center. In conversations with ACS staff working on the project, I discovered the Learning Center is the Society’s educational portal for staff and cancer survivors alike. The platform provides resources for ACS programs such as Relay for Life® and Reach to Recovery® in addition to courses aimed toward organizational operations like change management.
My tasks for the project were to create cohesive and engaging course banners, messaging, and iconography.
